Trust
Handing over and not checking; without it there is neither rhythm nor advancement
Team, partnership, children. A task handed over without control → the person receives the responsibility whole → they do their own work, not yours; your time and attention are set free. Suspicion costs both sides dearly: the one who is checked does exactly as much as is checked.
The sign that it has grown: people stop asking you “are you sure I may?”.
The quality without which, in the word of the source, “no rhythm can be created, no success can be called forth, there can be no advancement”. Trained in the ability to hand a task over and not check it, to take a word without a pledge — and not to poison yourself with suspicion.
The task of Day 9, handed over without control, is, at depth, trust. It is not naivety: the faithfulness everyone values is built out of it, as a mountain is built of rocks, and not the other way round. People poison themselves with disbelief — and the one who is not trusted does exactly as much as is checked.
In the 30 Days course — Day 9 (experience) and Day 24 (the name and depth).
Ways to train it
The methods are tested in practice and chosen for this quality. Take two or three, no more: a narrow focus builds the muscle faster than a long list.
How it works in ordinary life
Team, partnership, children.
Mechanism: a task handed over without control → the person receives the responsibility whole → they do their own work, not yours; your time and attention are set free. Suspicion costs both sides dearly: the one who is checked does exactly as much as is checked.
Sign: people stop asking you “are you sure I may?”.
Boundary: trust without a named price is gambling; where the price of a mistake is irreparable, checking is not distrust but care.
