Equilibrium
“The law that contains all the others” (Fiery World III, §230); “a mighty shield” (Facets of Agni Yoga, 1960)
A cardinal quality: “the law of Equilibrium contains all the other manifestations of life” (Fiery World III, §230); “a mighty shield against which no one is strong” (Facets, 1960). Trained at the point between the stimulus and the reaction.
the pause of Day 2 was equilibrium, the quality the Teaching calls the law that contains all the others, and “a mighty shield” (Facets of Agni Yoga, 1960). It is held not by freezing but by the rhythm of motion — “like a spinning top” (Hierarchy, §54): an unshakeable centre inside action.

Ways to train it
Two sources, always marked: ◆ from the Teaching — the core; ◇ a working tool — modern evidence-based practice, a secular reinforcement for a specific task. They must not be mixed up; working with them together is possible and necessary.
How it works in ordinary life
Money, career, health.
Mechanism: a pause before reacting → relationships, deals and reputation are not destroyed at the moment of strain → you are trusted with hard negotiations and responsible areas, where more is paid. Bodily: fewer slips — a lower physiological price for them.
Sign: you are put where the fire is.
Boundary: not the suppression of feelings and not indifference; an even tone does not cancel a firm position.
